Sketchbook Class (In-Person)Thursday, July 10, 2025 - 1 AM - 3 PM Sketchbook Class Facilitated by Joe Lammert Thursdays, July 10 through September 11, 1:00-3:00 $50/10-week class An art class designed to enhance and develop new and existing skills in drawing and painting. The format includes practice in a sketchbook to try a variety of methods and media that may enhance more detailed or finished works. Weekly sessions include discussion of art, artists, styles and techniques as well as practice in individual sketchbooks and sharing work and ideas with fellow artists. The learning is collaborative and flexible. To pay registration fees online with a credit card, you must register online and checkout as if you are paying with a check. How to Zoom (online class)Thursday, July 10, 2025 - 3 PM - 4 PM Thursday, July 10, 3:00-4:00 CT A great class for complete beginners and users who want to learn more about new features of the Zoom platform. In advance of the class, participants will receive a step by step guide on how to download the app onto their device and sign into a Zoom meeting. With or without weights, standing or seated - suited to all exercise abilities. Do you miss seeing your Shepherd's Center friends? With the help of a little technology we can all stay connected. This informal discussion group meets every Tuesday at 10:30 CT. BYOC (bring your own coffee) and join us for casual chats. Zoom links are emailed to registered participants weekly. |

A few current class favorite dances include: Chicago Style, Friday Night, Jerusalema, Tucka and Pressure. Wear comfortable shoes, bring a water bottle and be ready to move! In-person only. Class Fee: $2/week payable at the door only. NEW LOCATION & TIME beginning February 7 Beginning Friday, February 7 the Shepherd's Center Line Dance class will begin meeting at a new location - Grace Episcopal Church Kirkwood, 514 E. Lunch & Serve: Butterfly HavenTuesday, August 26, 2025 - 11:30 AM - 1 PM Lunch & Serve is your opportunity to gather with Shepherd?s Center friends and support important charitable organizations serving our community. How does it work? 1. Register for one, two or all three of the projects listed below. 2. Collect the items listed and bring them with you to the Shepherd?s Center on the day of the Lunch & Serve program. DO NOT DONATE ITEMS THAT ARE NOT LISTED, we cannot accept them. ONLY NEW ITEMS WILL BE ACCEPTED. 3. Bring your favorite lunch food. Beverages and desserts will be provided. 4. Participants will ?finish? each project as a team and enjoy a brief presentation from representatives of each featured charity. 5. If you ARE NOT attending but would like to donate, please call our office to arrange a drop off time for your items. If you ARE attending, please bring your items with you on the day of the program.
